Favianna is a driven community-based artist out of Oakland, California. Through her work, on can feel Favianna’s commitment to the arts as a tool for activism and community empowerment and her dedication to youth finding their own voice through the arts.

 

Favianna’s work spans from being Art Director and Co-Founder of Tumi’s Design, Oakland’s only bilingual design studio dedicated to global human rights by providing unique design solutions to promote social justice – to being a Co-Founder of the East Side Alliance (ESAA), a third world collective of artists and activists working to empower the Oakland community through arts and culture.
