Atticus Adams

Growing up in a small town in “ Bible Belt “ Appalachia I had this queer need to make things and change my personal environment with the simple materials at hand. This seems to be a common thread among many of my fellow queer artists. My work reminds me of the inherent beauty of simple materials and the “changeableness”, of things. It engages me in the mystery of the creative process and the joy of that experience. The mesh, rings, and wire, take on an intuitive creative direction of their own.
