bi-licious returns to the National Queer Arts Festival to showcase bisexual artists, performers and activists through a playful mix of serious issues and entertainment.  “The show was phenomenal! Susannah Layton: Executive Producer/Filmmaker

Susannah Layton spent most of her life living in London, England until her love of drag queens took her on an adventure to live in San Francisco for 10 years. In 2005 Susannah co-founded a social/support group for Bay Area bisexual artists, performers and activists. Her passion for developing projects that explore issues of identity, lifestyle and community lead her to become the Producer/Artistic Director for bi-licious 2008 and the Executive Producer for bi-licious 2009. Nick Leonard: Associate Producer/Comedian

Nick Leonard is a San Francisco comedian and performer, starting at the legendary Josie’s Juice Joint he has performed across the US and internationally, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also produces Qcomedy, San Francisco’s long running LGBTQ comedy showcase. Nick performs regularly as a comic and host around the Bay Area and Los Angeles at such venues as Cobb’s, the Punchline, Russian River Resort, The Improv on Melrose (LA), The Ice House (Pasadena), and the Santa Cruz Pride Festival. Greta Christina: Writer

Greta Christina has been writing professionally, about sex and other topics, since 1989. She is editor of the annual “Best Erotic Comics” series, and of “Paying For It: A Guide by Sex Workers for Their Clients,” and is author of “Bending,” an erotic novella published in the three-novella collection “Three Kinds of Asking For It.” Her writing has appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines, and anthologies, including Ms., Penthouse, the Skeptical Inquirer, the Chicago Sun-Times, and three volumes of “Best American Erotica.” She blogs about sex, atheism, politics, and other polite topics at the cleverly named Greta Christina’s Blog,

Liz Green: Writer/Performer

Liz Green is an award-winning playwright and her work was produced at the San Francisco Fringe Festival in 2003. She has been writing and performing spoken word poetry since 2002. In 2004 she became the San Francisco Co-Grand Slam Champion. She was on Team Berkeley 2005, ranked 7th in the nation. She has been featured consistently across the Bay Area in slams and open mics and performed at three theater festivals with the ensemble theater project Identified Queer Objects as a writer/performer. She is currently at work on an LGBT  young adult scifi novel. She is a graduate of Mills College’s MFA program in Creative Writing and teaches English and Creative Writing at Merritt College and Diablo Valley College. Khalil Sullivan: Singer/Songwriter

Khalil Sullivan was born in Maryland but after a 4-year detour at Princeton University and a 2-year apprenticeship on the tough streets of New York, now calls Berkeley, CA his home.  He spends his time juggling between creative endeavors and UC Berkeley’s doctoral program in English literature.  Having written a short operetta and composed original music for countless drama productions, he now records concept albums and the occasional song for weddings. Three Sisters Dance Company: Belly Dancing

The Three Sisters are real life siblings and Emily Briggs has joined, making them four sisters! They have been performing belly dance together for over ten years.  The award winning Three Sisters have toured the world from Paris to Bali sharing their love of this ancient dance form.  They performed with Cheb Mami in San Francico and Los Angeles. Elisa M Welch & Jim McLaren: Minstrels

Elisa M Welch is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who frequently associates with BHB, with co-conspirators Bryan Harrison, Jim McLaren, and Dave Coan, to produce a pigeonhole-defying musical cornucopia replete with sweet three-part harmony vocals and driving acoustic rhythms. Elisa breaks out into duo mode today with her BHB buddy, Jim McLaren. For years, Jim has paid his dues, hauling his instruments across the city on Muni, to enjoy playing music on the streets of San Francisco’s North Beach.
