Celeste C.

Senior Development Manager

Celeste Chan moved to San Francisco in 2004 to find creative community. Since that time, she founded and directed Queer Rebels, curated experimental films for MIX NYC, joined Foglifter as a board member, created a one-woman show, and toured the West Coast with Sister Spit. Celeste is passionate about art for social change. A former Association of Performing Arts Professionals Leadership Fellow, she’s raised over $2M for nonprofits as a grant writer. Other career highlights include leading youth writing workshops for the Queer Ancestors Project and serving as caregiver for a 95-year old lesbian rights activist. After years of attending the National Queer Arts Festival and participating in QMAD workshops, Celeste is thrilled to join QCC as a staff member.
