Come celebrate 3rd i’s 17th annual SF International South Asian Film Festival with some of the best cinema from India, Sri Lanka, UK and the USA. This year’s festival lends an ear to Young Voices, brims with cutting-edge indie narratives (including up-and-coming filmmakers of Bengali cinema and the Assamese New Wave), and puts Humor center stage. California filmmakers and Women’s stories shine bright!
Queer Cultural Center is a proud co-sponsor of Coast to Coast: Mumbai to the Mission a series of short films that includes Home Girl by Poonam Brah. A story of a British-Pakistani woman’s struggle to reconcile her queerness with her deceased mother’s expectations.
