QccTv is a new online program being developed for Qcc by Rudy Lemcke. QccTv uses the latest web technologies to stream queer video to home users around the world via the Qcc website.

QccTv will present interviews, readings, and live performances on our Web site. See Bill T. Jones, Merideth Monk, Thom Gunn, Dorothy Allison, Steven Petornio, Sini Anderson, Jonathan Katz and other important queer artists and cultural activists who have presented their work in the National Queer Arts Festival.

Rudy Lemcke is an artist, new media designer, and director of online progamming for Qcc’s website: www.queerculturalcenter.org. His art works have been exhibited in such venues as: the Whitney Museum of Art, the DeYoung Museum, the University Art Museum in Berkeley, the San Francisco Art Institute, the Grey Gallery in New York, and Modernism Gallery in San Francisco. His recent CD-Roms have been exhibited at the Dallas Video Festival, the Lesbian Gay Film Festival, and the Mix Festival in New York.

Rudy Lemcke has used his professional skills as both an artist and activist over the years. He represented Harry Britt on the San Francisco Cultural Affairs Task Force. He served on the artists’ committee of the San Francisco Art Institute for four years. He was a founding member of the Artist for Community Life, an organization that produced exhibitions for people with AIDS in the early ’80s. He has curated several exhibitions including the major exhibition “Inside/Out: Voices from Home” an exhibition about AIDS at the San Francisco Art Institute and co-curated: “FACE: Self Portraits” for the Queer Cultural Center.
