Don’t miss our Creating Queer Communities 1 Showcase!

Witness a showcase that’s sure to light you up! We have a luminous group of LGBTQIA+ artists ready to share their brilliance with you through music, comedy, dance, storytelling, spoken word, and visual installations. This showcase is a unique opportunity to experience the deep diversity present in the Bay Area’s LGBTQIA+ arts community and get to know the emerging artists you’ll want to follow for years to come.

Our Creating Queer Communities artists training program culminates each cycle in participants presenting newly created artistic work as part of the National Queer Arts Festival. This season’s artists will be presenting work in alignment with the festival’s theme, Incandescent Illuminations. Expect to be lifted towards the light with a diverse range of performances and installations representing the multitudes of LGBTQIA+ experience and community in the SF Bay Area.

Artists who will be shining their light as part of this showcase include: Angela Zamora, Ann Chen, Demi Alex Ayuna, Deon Brown, Esperanza Cabrales, Lisbeth Solis Rico, Satchi, and Cristina Medrano.

The Showcase will be taking place November 9th and 10th from 5 – 9 PM at Monument in SF.
