Ali Scott, Program Manager

Ali Scott stepped into the Program Manager role at QCC in December 2022. After graduating with a BFA from the School of the Arts Institute of Chicago, she moved to the Bay Area in 2013 to begin her gay adulthood. She has over 10 years of experience in event production running the gamut from art curation to queer nightlife.

Vienna Alvarez, Production and Accessibilty Coordinator

Vienna Alvarez (she/her) is a queer Latina DJ, event producer, AV technician and community organizer from the border of Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, CA. She serves as a pillar to the international underground artist community in the U.S. and Mexico. She works with artists, promoters, nightclubs, venues, and community spaces to bridge the gaps between access, the entertainment industry and BIPOC artists communities.

Anand Kalra, Executive Director

Anand Jay Kalra (he/they) joined Queer Cultural Center as Executive Director in September 2022. He brings a passion for community-based arts and more than two decades of experience in organized peace and justice work. Most recently, Anand was the founding Artistic & Managing Director of Uncaged Library, an arts collaborative and consultancy based in Oakland, CA.

Sarah Guerra, Operations and Finance Manager

Sarah Guerra is a native Tejana living in California since 2001. She has been involved in the arts since 1992 and has worked with various theatre companies in San Antonio, Tejas, most notably the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Jump-Start Performance Co., and The Epseranza Peace and Justice Center.
