Pamela Peniston, Artistic Director

Pamela Peniston is a Founding Member and Artistic Director of the Queer Cultural Center. She was an initial member of Mayor Art Agnos’ Cultural Affairs Task Force of San Francisco in 1989, which helped to establish the guidelines for the Cultural Equity Grants Program at the SF Arts Commission.

Mia Nakano, Communications Director

Mia Nakano is an artist, archivist, social change maker rooted in Oakland, CA. Her work is shaped through her experiences as a proud 4th generation Japanese American, queer woman of color, daughter of a single mother, and sister of a deaf adult.

Ramona Webb, Artistic Development Director

Ramona “Mona” Webb is a scholar, practitioner, teaching performance artist and Afro-Creek queer activist. Mona formerly served as Artistic Director of Project ABLE and Lyrical Minded415, which is an Art Based Learning for Equity seasonal course implemented in SFUSD’s Title I Neglected school sites. For 10 years Mona served as poetry Slammaster of San Francisco.

Sarah Guerra, Production Manager

Sarah Guerra is a native Tejana living in California since 2001. She has been involved in the arts since 1992 and has worked with various theatre companies in San Antonio, Tejas, most notably the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Jump-Start Performance Co., and The Epseranza Peace and Justice Center.
