Italian. Queer. Dangerous. is a critically acclaimed one-man show exploring the life of San Francisco activist Tommi Avicolli Mecca, from his childhood in South Philly’s Little Italy to his often outrageous exploits as a gay liberationist in the 70’s and 80’s. Starring Avicolli Mecca, who has been acting since 1978 and directed by Francesca Prada, a director for international film, broadcast and theatrical projects. Lighting by Joel Frangquist, who has worked behind the scenes at the SF Shakespeare Festival, the Des Moines Metro Opera and the California Shakespeare Festival.
