Joe Goode Performance Group
What the Body Knows
San Francisco’s Joe Goode Performance Group presents the world premiere of the latest dance/theater work by choreographer Joe Goode, What the Body Knows, as both an outdoor installation and an on-stage dance event. What the Body Knows is based on incidents in people’s lives wherein they relinquished reason and made decisions according to some greater wisdom from the body. The work emerges from an exploration of intuition and plays on a program with Goode’s renowned Take Place and Hapless. Performers: Joe Goode, Liz Burritt, Marc Morozumi, Jennifer Cook, Felipe Barrueto-Cabello, Marit Brook-Kothlow, Paul Benney, Vong Phrommala

What the Body Knows is made possible through a generous grant from The Wells Fargo Foundation.
