From the tangled yearnings of Asian teenagers’ desires to the texture of forgiveness a Black lesbian learns from her grandmother to the frayed legacy of a Mexican border crossing to a tight-knit community of Two-Spirit American Indians, these films by queer women of color intertwine self, family and spirituality to weave a rich tapestry of our communities.

Madeleine Lim
Madeleine Lim is the Executive Director of QWOCMAP. She is an award-winning filmmaker with 18 years of film and video experience. Her films have been featured at international film festivals, universities, museums and broadcast on PBS.
