R x D = [eros] x [ethnicity]: an artistically filtered scientific experiment, a multidisciplinary installation incorporating visual art, sound, performance, film and video, forums and panel discussions, focuses on how race and desire permeate our relationships, our work, and our lives. Much more than a question of romantic love or sex, R x D provides a space where the meanings of Race and Desire can be interrogated and where the public evidence of the colliding and conflicting results can serve to bring all of us closer to our own sense of humanity. The artists in this installation include James Chan, Jaime Cortez, Ali Dadgar, emael, Gennifer Hirano, Jason Luz, Hiro Miyahara, Allyn Nobles, Wura Ogunji and Ana Lara, Diego Pacheco, and Rebeka Rodriguez.
