Sherri Hepler

This painting was created in the aftermath.  After watching the documentary about the fire crew in New York I felt even more strongly about painting this composition than I had prior to.  With ashes and rubble at her feet and a billowing dust storm and memorial lights in the background, our lady stands defiant.
