Michael Ross is undoubtedly a storyteller, one whose parables you remember. Through color, stroke and an innate sense of narrative, Michael surely makes you both look and listen to his work. In SPIRIT TOP, he beautifully shares his journeys through the South, through love and blackness, for our eyes and our ears.

Michael has hosted exhibits at Z Space Gallery, SOMArts, Richmond Art Center, Berkeley Plaza Gallery, and the African & African American Art and Cultural Complex as well as in Chicago, Oklahoma City, Osaka, Japan, and Laurel, Mississippi.
