We invite you to an exciting queer weekend of film from an activist perspective, both documentaries and narratives telling tales not often told. Outside the Frame and its filmmakers oppose Israeli policies in Palestine and protest the pinkwashing of the queer community by Israel’s funding of Frameline.
OTF brings you the political farce Criminal Queers, confronting the prison-industrial complex; The Passionate Pursuits of Angela Bowen, the story of an African American Lesbian’s amazing life and work; excerpts from the documentary Miss Major and a discussion with the filmmakers; also The Path: Interviews with Queer Lebanese; drag queens tell all in Reinas de Los Angeles; an engaging message of solidarity with Palestinians from disabled queers; and many, many more films embracing the broad spectrum of our queer and our activist lives. Put this radical alternative film festival on your calendar now. Don’t be pinkwashed! Be Outside the Frame!
