We believe that Latina/o queer sexuality crosses many boundaries. It is within this spirit that the Erotica Workshop, “Hablando con las Entranas” will be open to all Queer Latinas/os. Because we are a mixture of cultures and languages, this workshop will welcome all of who we are.
Following the Erotica Workshop, there will be a Poetry/Open Mike Reading, featuring some of the best erotica voices of our community. Please sign up for it in advance. The two events will take place at MCCLA, Theater.
The Queer Latina/o Festival (QLF), formerly the Annual Lesbian Gay Bisexual & Transgender Latina/o Pride Cultural Arts Festival, is an annual event seeking to showcase the talents and contributions of our community in an environment that recognizes the intersection of culture, ethnicity, gender and sexuality. The 8th Annual Queer Latina/o Festival-1998, “Recreando Nuestra Familia en el Arte”, is organized by the Queer Latina/o Artists Coalition as collaborative effort with the SF Queer Cultural Center, the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts and other organizations.
