The Queer Latina/o artists show will include paintings, photography, sculpture and mixed-media work. It will be curated by recognized artists of our community. The Reception with the Artists will take place on Saturday, June 6th, 6:30–8:30 pm.
Theater Performance Show

Young Latina/o Latino Queer Theater Group will participate in this year’s Festival with a performance, and discussion following on young queer issues and new ways of expression. This performance will take place following the Reception for the Artists, at MCCLA Theater.
The Queer Latina/o Festival (QLF), formerly the Annual Lesbian Gay Bisexual & Transgender Latina/o Pride Cultural Arts Festival, is an annual event seeking to showcase the talents and contributions of our community in an environment that recognizes the intersection of culture, ethnicity, gender and sexuality. The 8th Annual Queer Latina/o Festival-1998, “Recreando Nuestra Familia en el Arte”, is organized by the Queer Latina/o Artists Coalition as collaborative effort with the SF Queer Cultural Center, the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts and other organizations.
