Nov. 7 – Nov. 10, 2019, the Roxie Theater hosts the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival. SFTFF provides opportunities for transgender and gender variant media artists, builds community through our film and performance events, and engages our audiences in cross-community dialogue.

Artist Dinh Q. Lê will screen the documentary Light and Belief: Voices and Sketches of Life from the Vietnam War (2012, 37 minutes). After the screening, Lê will discuss its production and his co-founding of Sàn Art, a non-profit art space in Ho Chi Minh City.
