ARTIST(S)
Maya Chinchilla, author of “The Cha Cha Files: A Chapina Poética,” is a writer, educator and media maker. She teaches as a lecturer in Latino/a/x Studies, creative writing, English and LGBTQ studies. Maya has been working on some pandemic projects including: co-hosting three seasons of a women of color-centered sci-fi podcast; writing and producing the show “Central American Unicorns in Space;” studying Afro Puerto Rican Bomba and conducting writing coaching sessions for creatives and writers alike.
