THE LIST (Caught in the wwWEB)
Taken from anonymous interviews and directly from public posting on the World-Wide-Web, this play asks how and why we use the web to find practically anything; BOOKS, TOYS…love, Intimacy via technology. The information super-highway is your route to everything from shared agendas or maybe just an outlet for your pent up anguish. The web connects us as a resource and yet isolates us all by it’s nature. How do people reach out to one another and interact? Why do they do it and are they telling the truth from the anonymous glow of their PC screens?
Jeffrey Hartgraves, Director. Mr. Hartgraves’ directorial credits include; A BEAUTIFUL MAN [JSC/Achemy] winner of Best of Fringe, Best Comedic Play [SF Fringe 2003], Dean Goodman Award-Direction. He is a two-time guest artist-in-residence for JSC/Alchemy and directed the San Francisco revival of DEAD HEADS. Other directorial credits include, WORSE THAN CHOCOLATE [Mainstage Theatre Rhinoceros], THE SANTALAND DIARIES, Shelton theatre for STEINBECK PRESENTS, The BOA FESTIVAL at the Eureka Theatre [2002 and 2003].
