Catching Up With The Cockettes: Archival Photography Exhibition

Rumi, original member of the Cockettes, has assembled a collection of archival and recent photographs celebrating the group. Included in the exhibition are early works of Robert Altman, photographs by Dan Nicoletta, Tommy Kohl, Chet Helms, and former Cockette Fayette Hauser. The opening reception features appearances by several of the original Cockettes, door prizes for outrageous American wet dream drag, photo ops with the Cockettes, and dancing to the musical stylings of DJ Puss Puss of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
