Liquid Fire 2000: Unleash The Fire (directed by Veronica C. Combs) is a performance project featuring a fierce and fiery cast of ten lesbian and bisexual women of color who reclaim and celebrate erotic power through spoken word, poetry, music, dance, and song, imparting the message: It is safe and beautiful to feel pleasure! The multicultural lesbian percussion group, Librations, will drive the burning pulse of the show with their powerful rhythms.

Veronica C. Combs began the Liquid Fire project because “the erotic is not only about sensual pleasure, it is also about the energy inside us that helps us to heal ourselves and others and motivates us along our life’s path. The dynamic cast includes Janell Bacon, Michelle Bolong, Lynn Bolton, B.C. Cliver, Massachia Giovanni, Michelle Ito, Ondrietta Johnson, Celeste Pearl, Aviance Rhome, Luz Villa, and Librations, the multicultural lesbian percussion group featuring Yolanda Vierra Allen, Claudia Vierra Allen, Earthlyn Manuel, Roz McMillan, and Jackie Stanfill.
