Join the Cartoon Art Museum at SOMArts Cultural Center for a celebration of queer culture in comics! Draw, cosplay, mingle, meet creators, buy art, watch demonstrations, join conversations, and learn about LGBT*Q representation in comic books. Plus, enjoy surprises just for queer parents and kids to celebrate Fathers Day Weekend.
See a special pop-up exhibit of Midboss’ “Read Only Memories” and Stacked Deck Press’ “Alphabet” by the Cartoon Art Museum and the exhibit “Kumalicious” curated by E. Salvador Hernandez and presented by Queer Cultural Center.
QCE is also a fundraiser for the Cartoon Art Museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving, documenting, and exhibiting the unique and accessible art form of cartooning in all it’s forms for over 30 years.
