Local gay psychotherapist Rik Isensee is the author of Spank the Monkey, a compendium of racy rants, fond reminiscence, and irreverent monologues. Rik will speaking about his observations of a postmodern world that is wracked by perplexity, shocked by sacrilegious mockery and touched by personal revelations. A licenced, clinical social worker, Rik has worked with gay-related issues since the 1970’s and has written numerous books on gay culture, psychotherapy and the many complex relationships in between. His popular local psychotherapy practice has been serving the community for many years and his speaking engagements are known for being insightful, engagingand irreverent.
