Take It Back Fest is a Post Homo-Core happening in SF that had the initial aim to bring a sense of punk and or rock sensibility back to the queer scene and to Pride in general.

We do this fest because we are tired of the stark Capitalism and general social fuckery encased in the Pride celebration and seek to create a space where we don’t have to pay 40 dollars and stand in a line for an hour. We long for a place where we can just “be”.

We do this fest because we believe that in a city that boasts a romantic, proud, and majestic history of HOMO CORE, its descendants, and bold outlaw queers in general we know that our scene will never die and is far from “over”.
