The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Historical Society and the Center for the History of Sexual Diversity presents “Making a Case for Community History,” a unique collaboration of community members, archival staff and museum professionals. T The featured groups this year are Two-Spirit Native Americans, bisexuals, sex workers, elders, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Women’s Building. The intent of the exhibit is to acknowledge under-recognized GLBT groups and to give them an opportunity to research and reveal their historical reality in the larger context of the GLBT community. Premiere reception at the Skylight Gallery on June 1, 6:00 – 7:30 PM, and it will move to the SF Gay Pride Celebration in Civic Center Plaza on June 25. Please call 415.777.5455 for more information.
